• Iver Johnson 1911A1 complete lower unit
• Made to fit a Government size 1911 Series 70 45acp upper with a 5″ barrel
• Ships completely assembled as you see in the picture.  Includes all parts (no grips and no magazine).
• Matte blued finish
• CNC machined out of 4140 steel
• GI style parts
• Flat serrated metal backstrap
• Finger relief cuts near trigger
• Slightly beveled magwell
• Fitting may be required to your upper unit.  We recommend having a certified gunsmith properly fit our lower unit to any upper unit.

• PURCHASING INFORMATION:  Buying this lower unit requires the same process as buying a complete firearm.  Once you purchase the unit from us and payment is made, you are responsible for having a licensed gun dealer email us their signed FFL copy for the transfer.  Please make sure they include your order information in their email to us.  Once received, the lower unit will be shipped to that gun dealer, and they will handle the necessary paperwork for transferring the unit to you, same as when you buy a complete firearm.  Please discuss the transfer fee with your gun shop before committing to the purchase.  If you have any questions, please email us.
